Riverview #3 enjoys the most spectacular views on the entire Mississippi River.
Lake Pepin is a naturally occurring lake and is part of the Mississippi River. It is located in a bluff lined valley carved by the outflow of an enormous glacial lake at the end of the last Ice Age. When you enter this wonderful townhome, your first view is to look upon this beautiful lake in all its splendor. Eagles may greet you from the trees along shore or sailboats may float by on the majestic body of water. The sun will rise to greet you right through the living room’s spacious windows. And the moon will glow as it seems to rise right out of the lake itself.
New luxury vinyl plank flooring will lead you to a large deck that feels like you’re hanging right over the lake itself. The kitchen features all stainless steel appliances that include a dishwasher, refrigerator, and electric, glass top range. Enjoy a home-made meal or take-out from one of the many wonderful restaurants in the area (including The Lake House right downstairs) on a custom built banquette, or better yet, out on the deck as the sun sets.
The two level townhome is newly remodeled and can sleep up to 6 with a king-sized master suite, a queen-sized second bedroom on the main floor, and a queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room. The master suite takes up the entire second floor and includes a private bath with tub/shower. A second full bath is located on the main floor. A stackable washer/drier is also located on the main floor for your use as well. Visitors have access to an indoor pool and hot tub. This townhome is located on the second floor of the Waterman’s development. Access is by stairs only.
Nearby there are six area golf courses, a casino, two brewpubs, the National Eagle Center, Lark Toys, wineries, snowmobiling, shopping, and antiques. There are many local and state parks with scenic walks and hiking trails. Eagles abound and the area is a natural flyway for all types of waterfowl, pelicans, and migratory birds. Lake Pepin is also situated on one of the most scenic driving tours in the US. It is ranked only behind the North Shore for leaf watching in the fall. The views alone will bring you back any time of year and the view from our townhome is second to none on the lake.
Lake Pepin is the delight of fishermen, boaters, sailors, and of course water enthusiasts of all ages. It is, after all, the “Birthplace of Waterskiing”.
